THE 2008 WORLD CLASS COACHING International Coaching Seminar is at a great new location...conveniently close to restaurants and five minutes from two Kansas City's best casinos.  This year we feature two headline clinicians.  Anson Dorrance, University of North Carolina Women's coach and Mauricio Marques of Clube Atlético Mineiro (Brazil) as well as former U.S. Women's National Team assistant coach, Lauren Gregg and Kansas City Wizards head coach, Curt Onalfo Click here to register online.

The seminar has a dual focus.  Dorrance will show training sessions that have produced 19 National Championships in 26 years.  He will explain how his training methods have developed and improved over the years.  For instance, they have implemented ideas from the training methods of teams from the German Bundesliga and some small-sided games from Arsenal F.C. of the English Premier League.

Want to find out how the Brazilians develop such skillful young players?  Mauricio Marques will "reveal the Brazilian training secrets" that are used to develop their top young players.  He will demonstrate small-sided games and explain how skill development is transitioned into tactical knowledge.  Click here to register online.

Four world class clinicians will conduct sessions:

Anson Dorrance - Universtiy of North Carolina - Dorrance really needs no introduction, but for those that have lost count, his UNC teams have won 19 National Championships out of the last 26 years.  Dorrance also coached the U.S. Women's team that won the World Cup in 1991.

Mauricio Marques - Marques works with the youth academy at Clube Atlético Mineiro (Brasil) and is also a coach with the Brazilian National Football Confederation (CBF).  Marques will conduct sessions that explain the development methods and techniques of young Brazilian players.

Lauren Gregg - Gregg was formerly the head coach of the U.S. Women's U20 National Team and the assistant coach of the U.S. Women's National Team for over 10 years including when they won the World Cup in 1991 and the Olympic Gold Medal in 1996.  Prior to this, Gregg was the head coach of the nationally ranked University of Virginia Women's Team.

Curt Onalfo - Coach of the MLS Kansas City Wizards.  In addition to his distinguished playing career, Onalfo has coached at the highest levels and has lead teams in MLS play and Olympic, Gold Cup and World Cup competition as an assistant.

New Location
We are very excited about the new location for our 9th Annual International Coaching Seminar.  The Convention Center at the Metropolitan Community College, Kansas City is a perfect venue with over 55,000 sq. ft. of space giving us more room for our attendees, exhibit booths, etc. and parking for 1,200 vehicles.  It is also perfectly located - it is closer to the airport, close to many restaurants and just five minutes from two of Kansas City's best casinos - Harrah's and the Isle of Capri.  The host hotel is just seconds away, and short walk across the parking lot.

Sessions Schedule
Our world class cast of clinicians will conduct both tactical and technical sessions. This will give coaches of all levels something to take back to the practice field and use right away.
