Short Corners for Young Teams

This week’s Animated Drills Video looks at short corners for younger teams. Since our teams below U12 can’t head the ball there’s really no point in lining up and crossing a ball into the box. It’s very unlikely that the crosser will be able to connect with a player to score a goal. So why not use corner kicks as an opportunity to teach players how to combine in order to create chances to score. This video will give you some ideas on how to teach your young players to use short corners.
